Andres Ugarte
Coach - Catching Instructor
Andres is born and raised in Venezuela with both collegiate and professional playing experience.
He graduated from Reinhardt University where he was a 2X NAIA All-American, 4X All-Conference player, 1X Gold Glove Award Winner and helped lead the Eagles to their first ever World Series appearance. After his time at Reinhardt, he played in the MLB Draft League with the West Virginia Blackbears where he had a .371 batting average, was a member of the All-Defensive Team and lead the team to their second title win in team history.

Currently, Andres acts as the catching coach at Reinhardt University, and, with BFD, he focuses on player development as a Catching Instructor for athletes of all ages. His focus as a catching instructor is to improve overall skills, pop-time, arm strength, building mentality, leadership and game awareness. The benefits of working with Andres is getting a customized training plan, using technology and video footage to analyze and make any adjustments you may need to improve.

Andres currently lives in Acworth, Ga with his wife, Emma.
